What an incredible dog my first Borzoi turned out to be. While she was
growing up, she finished her AKC Lure Coursing Championship with 5
three point majors, and also finished her AKC Conformation Championship
in great style, WB, BOW, BOS over specials at the 2004 Puget Sound Borzoi
Club summer specialty with my good friend Guy Anctil handling under
breeder-judge, Mrs. Pat Murphy. As you can see from the photo, Miss
Whitney was BALD when she won her last major.

Eight years old and going strong; Whitney wins Best of Breed
under Canadian breeder judge Helen Lee at the PSBC supported
entry in Yakima 2007. At the last minute Jim Anderson was
recruited to show her. Thanks Jim!

There will never be another dog like Whitney. She did it all. At
eight years old she was in the top 20 all-breed Borzoi rankings
with very limited breed showing, was Best Veteran in Sweeps at
the BCNC fall specialty and qualified with Jordan to go to
Eukanuba in 2007. Unfortunately she died suddenly before the
Sacramento National. She is dearly missed and we are blessed
to have her children to carry on with.
